30 bis 40 kmh Gegenwind bedeuten fuer mich etwa 12 kmh Geschwindigkeit, tief gebeugt ueber den Lenker. Das ist echt anstrengend fuer den Koerper und den Kopf. In zwei Tagen schaffe ich etwa 80 km. Zwei Tage zuvor raste ich mit dem Wind ueber 25 kmh die selbe Strecke, aber in Gegenrichtung; 80 bis 100 km jeden Tag.

This is really stressful for the body and head. In two days, I manage about 80 km . Two days earlier, I was racing with the wind about 25 kmh, the same route, only in the opposite direction; 80 to 100 km every day.

Gegen 15 Uhr haelt ein Kleinbus mit zwei Franzosen neben mir. Abu und Abdullah wollen nach Senegal, haben aber keine Visa fuer Mauretanien. Also rasen sie die 350 km zurueck nach Dakhla, damit Abu nach Rabat fliegen und die Visa kaufen kann. Um 20 Uhr startet der Flieger. Trotzdem nehmen sie sich die Zeit mit mir zu plaudern, mein Rad mit Anhaenger in den ziemlich vollen Kleinbus zu laden und mich mitzunehmen. Das wird knapp mit dem Flugzeug nach Rabat.
Abu bietet mir an, meinen Pass mitzunehmen, das Visum zu besorgen und mich zur Grenze oder bis Senegal im Kleinbus mitzunehmen. Die Versuchung ist gross. Soll ich?
